T-Pain & Lil Wayne Collabo Album Put On Hold!!!

During a recent interview, singer T-Pain revealed that he and rapper Lil Wayne still plan to release their collaboration album, T-Wayne, but it won't be anytime soon.

Pain told MTV News that several songs for the album have already been recorded, but they plan to wait until Wayne is released from jail before they finalize the project.

"The T-Wayne album, we're actually gonna wait until he gets out," said Pain. "He has so much going on. He has Rebirth out right now. I don't wanna interrupt that. We just gonna wait until he gets out to really get in on that. We recorded a bunch of songs. But, right now, it's time for him and his personal sh*t."

Pain also said that the extra time will make sure that they give the fans a really good product instead of just something that was just thrown together.

"We can put out whatever we feel like and say, 'Hey, this is T-Wayne's album,' or we can actually try to make it good. Like we're actually trying to make an album and say, 'This is the good T-Wayne album.' Rather than just record 12 songs and say, 'Here you go, motherf*ckas! I know you want it. You gonna buy it anyway, just because you think it's good.'"

Aside from preparing to release his fourth solo album later this year, T-Pain also recently premiered his show Freaknik: The Musical on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
