Jah Cure was yesterday taken into custody, by the constant spring police for suspicion of having marijuana in his possession.The singer, born Sycatore Alcock, was arrested and charged with possession of and smoking marijuana.
He was granted bail in the sum of $ 5,000, and is scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court on April 26.
Alcock is set to kick of his first official African tour this summer after which he will have several performances in Mexico, before returning to Jamaica, in July, for International Night at Reggae Sumfest 2010.
