Following his recent win at the Soul Train and MOBO awards, Gyptian has debuted on the UK Singles chart with Hold Yuh.Hold Yuh which peaked at number 77 stateside on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and at number 69 on the Canada Hot 100 chart hops onto the UK Top 75 Singles chart at number 16.
This is the first time in four years that a Jamaican artiste is featured as lead on any single that has cracked the Top 30 portion of the UK Singles chart.
Sean Paul was the last artiste to have achieved this feat. In 2006, Temperature entered and peaked at number 11.
Hold Yuh has already peaked at number 54 on the European Hot 100.
