Located on Ardenne Road, Tarik 'Russian' Johnston and Sean 'Ital' Francis open ed Head Concussion/Revelator Rehearsal Studio two weeks ago.

Equipped with an array of instruments, the studio is ready for bands and artistes to book rehearsals. This is one of many business moves to come from the 22-year-old producer known for hits such as Life Sweet for Vybz Kartel and Good Girl Gone Bad for Tarrus Riley and Konshens, among others.

He said: "So far, we've gotten a number of shows, like Western Consciousness, where all the artistes booked on the show would come here to rehearse. I'm also starting my Head Concussion Records office here on the same premises. That will be fully equipped wid a voice room, studio, a video-editing room, I want to build an all-around entertainment source."

The producer has been busy musically in recent weeks, having released his 'Street Groove' rhythm, which features Aidonia, Kartel, Konshens and others.

He told THE STAR: "So far, Street Groove rhythm is doing well. We just have to start doing some street promo on it. Since the dance dem lock off, the street promo is going slow. Right now, I'm working on a one-drop rhythm and a sexy dancehall rhythm for the ladies to slow wine to."

Also in the works are two singles with his artiste, Chan Dizzy, as well as Konshens and Tarrus Riley. The producer made his debut as an artiste this week in a collaboration with Vybz Kartel, Straight Jeans and Fitted. "Kartel made the song off the uptown style and a so dem do it in Portmore. So, in the song I represent the uptown and he represents Portmore," he said.

This could be the start of more songs from him in the future including a collaboration with Konshens.
