There's no doubt the Japanese market is feeling reggae/dancehall artiste Chino. So much so, his sophomore Japan album, Never Change, has debuted in the number 7 spot on the iTunes Japan Reggae Album Chart. The album which was released yesterday (Wednesday), has been stirring excitement as early as two months ago in Japan with top downloads on a number of prestigious ringtone websites. With the highly-anticipated album now out, featuring the Japanese rendition of the hit, From Mawning, Chino, whose correct name is Daniel McGregor, says "so far we've been getting a great response in Japan and as we increase the promotion I know the fans will love the songs on the album and the overall vibe. I'll be in Japan soon to do a promotional tour and get up close with the fans." Chino performs at Reggae Sumfest's Dancehall night tonight, at Catherine Hall, Montego Bay.
