Lamar Odom Hires Mother-In-Law, Kris Jenner, As Manager!

Kris Jenner, mother of the Kardashian sisters, is one busy woman. In addition to managing the careers of daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, she has taken on managerial duties for Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom as well. Odom, who celebrated one year of nuptials with his beloved bride in September, is a forward for the Los Angeles Lakers and, according to a rep for the basketball star, hired mother-in-law Jenner as his manager several months back.

“Kris Jenner now manages Lamar Odom,” his rep told TMZ earlier this week. “He asked her to manage him off the court a few months ago. Their first project together would be his and Khloe’s fragrance, which is set to launch next year.”

In addition to the unnamed fragrance, Jenner will be responsible for organizing the athlete’s endorsement deals, personal marketing and his many paid appearances. She will also continue to manage the careers of her daughters which, for the past five years, have positioned her as the woman behind hit E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Together, the Kardashian family owns 3 Dash clothing stores, including a new store in New York, as well as a children’s boutique called Smooch. Recently, Kim and Khloe have been spotted all over New York City preparing the third Dash store opening.

Spice is preggo-dj says 'It wasn't planned, but I am happy.'!

Deejay Spice, at more than five months pregnant, is glowingly anticipating the birth of her second child with fiancé Nicholas Lall.

Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR, the deejay said her second pregnancy was an unexpected one. She said, "it wasn't planned but I'm happy. Pregnancy is a gift from God, I didn't think I'd have any kids and here I am. This time around I'm keeping the sex of the baby as a surprise for us, its always fun to be guessing and having everyone guess what its going to be."

Already sharing a son, three-year old Nicholas Lall Jr, both Spice, real name Grace Hamilton, and her fiancee are hoping for a girl. Having recently shot the video for her single Jim Screechy while four months pregnant, not much suspicion was raised, and so Spice decided to keep her pregnancy out of the spotlight for as long as possible.

"Basically I'm trying to keep my private life on the low. The Jim Screechy song had just gotten out there and people were talking about it so I didn't want my pregnant to overshadow Spice as the artiste. Now people have been calling me saying they've been hearing the pregnancy rumours and I don't want to keep my fans in the dark any longer," she explained.

missing events

While Spice worked right through her first pregnancy, this time around she plans to 'take it easy'. She will not be taking any shows and will be missing events such as Sting in December. For the deejay, she will miss being on stage but is still as motivated as ever to not only achieve more success as a deejay but in her businesses like her store Spicey Couture, her Spicey Salon and her bar 8 Ball.

Having a lot on the table, Spice says its with the support of her fiancee and family that she manages to juggle it all. She said, "I have a really good support system, my fiancee is fabulous in terms of taking care of Nicholas (Jr). My sister and mom is always there as well."

As for plans for her wedding, Spice says that will have to wait until next year after the birth of her baby. "My fiancee he can't wait for it to happen more than ever but I insist on waiting till after the birth of this child," she said. The two have been together for four years and got officially engaged last year.

As for rumours that the two have been on rocky terms she said, "people say we're apart cause of a crazy comment I made on Facebook but yuh know every relationship has its ups and downs, but yes we're happy. The good thing is that when we have our differences we mend it easily, we can't live widdout each other."

Coming soon for Spice are singles such as Tell Me Why and Official Girl with rapper Jay Young.

T.I. Sentenced to 11 Months In Prison!

T.I. is heading back to prison, after a federal judge revoked the rapper's probation and sentenced the rap star to 11 months in prison for possessing drugs in September in Los Angeles.

T.I. appeared in court today (October 15th) for a hearing that started at 2:00PM, flanked by his team of lawyers that included Ed Garland, Steve Sadow, Don Samuel, Janice Capek, Kristen Wright and Dwight Thomas.

The courtroom was packed, as he stood before Judge Charles Pannell Jr.

Prosecutors chastised the Grammy Award winning rapper for violating the terms of his federal probation for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers in October of 2007 and wanted to send him away for two years.

During the hearing, a small fire broke out on the side of the courthouse, causing a stir, but the proceedings continued.

The rapper's defense attorneys argued that drugs in his system were the result of a root canal and T.I. admitted to using the drugs, after he had dental surgery.

Judge Charles Pannell Jr. sentenced T.I. to the prison sentence, after the Atlanta native and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were caught in Los Angeles on September 1st, in possession of a controlled substance, which was later revealed to be ecstasy.

Additionally, the rap star tested positive for drugs the following day and was traveling with a convicted felon named Cortez "C-Rod" Thomas, who allegedly helped the rapper set up the purchase of illegal weapons that T.I. was originally arrested for, which further violated the terms of his probation.

The rapper asked the judge to sentence him to rehab for a drug addiction, but he was sentenced to the 11 months in prison, instead.

T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr., was released from prison in March, after serving a year in prison for attempting to purchase the machine guns and silencers prior to the BET Awards in October of 2007.

After T.I. was released from prison, he appeared to be on the right path, hitting the studio to record his highly anticipated come back album King Uncaged, while promoting his #1 box office movie, Takers.

During an interview with CNN's Don Lemon, T.I. said that he was "tired" and vowed to turn his life around. The rap star also apologized to anyone he may have hurt, or disappointed due to his arrest.

"The only thing that I can say, man, is that all people who have supported me, who were behind me, who believed in me, who were disappointed and were let down, I just offered my sincerest apologies, and I will dedicate my life no matter how long it takes to earn your trust back and to make you proud yet again," T.I. said.

"I'm tired. I'm wore out," the rap star continued. "I don't have the age, the energy or just the attitude to move forward and continuing in this cycle in this ongoing process of destruction and disparity in my life. I've got too many depending on me and counting on me. I can't do it."

According to reports, T.I. will return home and start his sentence shortly.

After landing in Europe, Vybz first stopped in Zurich, Switzerland where he performed for almost 2 hours at the Crystal Club. The Grammy winning artist Lee "Scratch" Perry was among the capacity crowd that came out to see Kartel's performance.

In Paris, Kartel impressed the crowd with his grasp of basic French by declaring "J'Mapelle Kartel" to the sold out crowd at Elyesse Montmarte before ripping through a powerful set.

The world-renowned venue has hosted performances from some of the world's greatest artistes.

Vybz was interviewed backstage at the Amsterdam Reggae Festival by BBC's Robbo Ranx who left London despite the Annual 1xtra concert on the same night to interview the controversial artist.

"Europe tun up," Kartel said of his tour, "mi ready fi go again".
